He is survived by: his wife Sara Ann Adams; his children, Amy Smith of Keokuk, Justin Plunk of Ripley County, Angela Durk of Hamilton, IL and Neva Costner of Doniphan; and his siblings, Betty Esmon of Doniphan, Alberta Moody of Loraine, IL, Roberta Crook of Quincy, IL, Elvis Plunk of Doniphan, Harley Plunk of Doniphan, Lonnie Plunk of St. Louis, MO and Bill Plunk of Pacific, MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
