Though James Austin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Austin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earnest Earl Geter and Lillian Ruth Geter (Thornburg); and his wife Edna. He was also cherished by 8 children, 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A burial was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Belleview Cemetery.
