He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Emmett Henson and Bonnie Mae Henson (Darnell); his daughters-in-law, Jennifer Payne and Jenny Hill; his siblings, Shelby Jean Hastings, Marie Carter, Betty Ellen Barnett, Zella Mae Harrison, Maxine Leroux, William Joe Henson and Garland Henson; and his great grandchild Eli.
He is survived by: his children, John Dean Henson of Harrell Mo, Jerry Lee Henson (Sheila) of Doniphan Mo and Christy Lynn Kirkman (Steven) of Poplar Bluff; his grandchildren, Jody, Bobby, Shelby, Sydney, Michael and Hannah; his great grandchildren, Layla Jane, Selina, Moriah, Hollis Kate, Holden, Matthew, Amberlin, Adalee, Aria and Mia; and his sisters, Mary Nelson of Leeton Mo and Wanda Jo Clayton of Boonville Ar.
