It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene S. Byrd of Doniphan, Missouri, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlene S. Byrd to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Seaton and Vara Seaton (Smith); her brothers, Eddie N. and Carroll B. Seaton; her sister-in-law Jerry Seaton; her great-niece Savannah Cheyenne Killough; her daughter Karen D. Byrd Goodson (William R. Goodson, Jr.) of Lawrence, KS; and her granddaughter Shaina Goodson Miller (Cameron Miller) of Houston, TX..
She is survived by: her niece Susan Killough; her nephews, Scott Seaton, Wade Seaton and Jason Seaton; and also Kelsey Alexandra Yancey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (606 Walnut St, Doniphan, MO 63935). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hunt-White Memorial Gardens (State Hwy Y, Doniphan, MO 63935).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Darlene's name to the Doniphan-Ripley County Library.
