She was predeceased by: her parents, John Weiss and Ella Weiss (Ashby); her husband Dale C. Bess; her siblings, John Weiss, Katherine Wachter, Mary Lea Key, Peggy Wade and Sally Barnhouse; and her son-in-law Kenny Moran.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Bess (Londa), Christine White (Mouse), Linda Moran, Janice Vandiver (Ken) and Kelly Ketcherside; and her grandchildren, John Huitt, Brooke McDaniel (Joe), Dianna Dunlap (Will), Ashley Sabourin, Valerie Wilcoxsen (Bobby), Johanna Hillier, Katherine Murphy (Lucas), Amelia Moran, Sarah Thebeau (Randy), Jessica Zobrisky (Craig), Ben Vandiver, Josh Ketcherside (Lauren), Tim Ketcherside (Christina) and Hannah Haywood (Kyle). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other friends and family.
