It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Rose Mensing (Dixon, Missouri), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 5, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Andrew and Leona Mae Williams (Atchinson); her husband Roy; her granddaughter Leanne Michelle Mensing; her brother John Andrew Williams, Jr.; and her mother-in-law Betty.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Mensing (Lavonda), John Mensing (Mary), Roxanna "Roxie" Twaddell (Michael), Loretta O'Neal (Preston), Dixon and Daniel Mensing; her sister Maxine Friederichs (Elmer); her sister-in-law Carolyn Williams; her grandchildren, Lysa Draper (Ray), Jason Mensing (Amanda), Bridget Briley (Larry), Kandy Carver, Chris Mensing (Amanda), Casandra Mensing (Brian), Scott Twaddell (Holly), Elizabeth Seelig, Ben Twaddell (Jamie), Laura Fay Dorinski (Stephen), Petey O'Neal (Michelle), Jennifer Nestor (Joe) and Mark O'Neal (Cassie); and her great grandchildren, RJ, Lillie, Leo, Alex, Abbey, Amelia, Haley, Annabella, Madison, Conor, Tyler, Autumn, Delia, Xander, Isaiah, Madeline, Trenton, Owen, Anna, Joshua, Genevieve, Preston, Joseph, Kaylee, Mary Jane, Andrew, Reuben and Alyssa.
