It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Burgess of Dixon, Missouri, born in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy DeGroat and Edith Bergmann DeGroat. She is survived by: her husband Fred J. Burgess; her children, Tommy Burgess of Rolla, MO and Jennifer Simmons (Casey) of Devils Elbow; her siblings, Adrian DeGroat, Beatrice Prewett of St. James, MO. and Barbara Armstrong of St. James, MO.; her grandsons, Robert Burgess, Cole Simmons and Hunter Simmons; her nieces and nephews, Andrea Fox, Renee DeGroat, April Nicholson, Leaman Crews and Joshua Prewett; her great-nephew Michael DeGroat; and her great-niece Kira Watson.
Mask mandate and social distancing are required.
Memorials are suggest to the Alzheimer's Association.
