He is survived by: his wife Myra Schaffner; his children, Jason (Sue Ann Schaffner), Dixon and Melinda Kay O'Neal; his grandchildren, Jerica Keeth (Austin), John Robert Schaffner and Shaddix Wyman; his great grandchild Kenneth Keeth; his brother Clarence "Sonny"; his sister-in-law Glenda Schaffner; and his sisters, Sue (Stanley Holterman) and Mary McNally (Georgenna Alexander). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces; great-nephews and great-nieces and many other relatives and friends.
