He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony "Marvin" Johnson and Maxine Johnson (Grisham); his children, Vicky Lee Johnson and John Alan Johnson; his granddaughters, Jessica Nichole Johnson and Gracie Simmons; his siblings, Eugene "Gene" Johnson and Wilma Watson; his son-in-law Scott G. Lyons; and his stepson Brian K. Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Miller Johnson; his children, Janet A. Lyons, Joseph Johnson and Jamie Johnson (Dena); his stepson Jason Simmons; the mother of his children Bonnie Herd Johnson; his grandchildren, Shelby Lyons, Vicky Lyons, Ashley Sherrell, Jonathan Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Cory York, Devon Cardin, Miranda Johnson, Danielle Johnson, Jacob Johnson and Kylee Brown; the mothers of children, Kyler Simmons, Heaven McCraken, Marissa Mangner, Kyler Mangner and Anastasia McGaughey; and his great grandchildren, Hendrix, Amelia, Kendra, Kane, Kasen, Klay, Taylor, Haley, Annabelle, Phoenix and Blake.
