He was predeceased by: his parents, Darlene Root and Robert Root; his wife Cynthia Root; and his siblings, Lisa and Lanny.
He is survived by: his daughters, Misty Flynn, Wendy Foster (Reginald) and Nicole Root; his grandchildren, Mathew (Harley), Jessica (Cory), Hailey, Reginald, Jr., Cameron, Aaliyah, Kobe, Haiden, Kelsey and Carley; and his great grandchildren, Pad'me and Arielynn. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
