He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Parnell and Elise Parnell (Lofflier); his wife Jo Hertzler; and his siblings, Rudolph Parnell, Raymond Parnell, Leonard Parnell, Horbart Parnell, Harlin Parnell, Wesley Parnell, Gusty Honeycutt, Dorothy Smith and Rosie Denton.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Parnell of Fairland, Oklahoma and Beverly Englehart (Wayne) of Diamond, Missouri; his granddaughter Elizabeth Shackelford (Nate); his great grandchildren, Clayton Woehl (Taylor), Demitra Consier (Tony), Carolyn Shackelford and Nate Shackelford; and his great great grandchildren, Maisie Woehl, Wesley Consier and Avey Marley.
