He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Greer and Ada Johnson Greer; his son William Thomas Greer; and his siblings, Harold Greer, Carl Greer, Lewis Greer, Maudine Bradford and Lawanda Sanders.

He is survived by : his children, Daniel Greer (Kelly) of Kansas City, Missouri, Tonia Lawton of Olathe, Janice Church of Desoto and Debbie Peck of Desoto, Kansas; his sister Pauline Jones of Dexter, Missouri; his grandsons, Donald Church, Michael Church and Dalton Nowak; and his great grandchildren, Katie Church, Blaine Church, Abby Church, Zoe Church, Austin Church, Ashton Church and Bella Greer.
