She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel A. Knurbein and Gladys Witthaus Knurbein; her son Scott A. Mesey; her siblings, Ralph Knurbein, Elmer Knurbein, Kenny Knurbein, Olivia Poeppelmeier and Ruth Schatzler; and her siblings-in-law, Juanita Knurbein, Jerry Knurbein, Wesley Knehans, Garland Poeppelmeier and John Schatzler.

She is survived by : her sons, Keith L. Mesey (Kimberly) and Russell D. Mesey (Jeanee); her grandchildren, Thomas A. Mesey, Brandon Mesey, Robin Mesey, Shawn Mesey, Shelsie Mesey, Cammeron Mesey, Madison Mesey and Sydney Fingers; her great grandchildren, Emma K. Mesey, Shawn Mesey Jr., Owen Konnon, Graceline Declue, Parker Mesey and Silas Bobbit; her sister-in-law Janet Knurbein; and her sisters, Barbara Struckhoff (Wayne) and Sharon Day.
