With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velva Foyle of Dexter, Missouri, born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Bill Foyle; her stepfather William Nelson; her brothers, David Foyle and Dwane Allan Owens; and her grandparents, Berninard Killian, Marjorie Cox and Virginia Foyle.
She is survived by: her mother Doris Killian Nelson of Dexter; her sisters, Darla Young (Eric) of Hamilton, Marietta Obergoenner (David) of Cape Girardeau and Charlotte Snyder (Ed) of Texas; her stepsiblings, Joann Lloyd of Arkansas, Susan Jarrell of St. Louis, Missouri and Danny Nelson (Donna) of Bloomfield, Missouri; her nieces and nephews, Justin Christman (Lynne) of Paris, Jerimy Obergoenner (Lucia) of Jackson, Matthew Reeves of Texas, Jennifer McGarrah (Cecil) of Heavener, Whitney Payne (Tyler) of St. Peters, Jill Watkins (David) of Jackson, Christal Thomas (Matthew) of O'Fallon, Robert Christian of Dexter, Don Christian (FredaMae) of Jackson, Ladawn Crowe of McClure, Shawn Lloyd of Dexter and Michael Lloyd of Arkansas; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dayla McGarrah of Heavener, Raelyn McGarrah of Heavener, Logan Christman, Georgia Christman of Paris and Tucker Payne of St. Peters; and her close friends, Julie Jackson of Dexter, Jacob Reeves, John Reeves, Jessica Reeves Crockett and Robert Holt of Bloomfield, Missouri. She is also survived by many other great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
