She was predeceased by : her parents, James Bloys Cook and Lottie Robey Cook; her son James William Pruett; and her brother Andy Franklin Cook. She is survived by : her husband Rev. Edsel Pruett; her son Bloyce Pruett (Gayla) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; her grandchildren, Flesha Samuels and Benjamin Pruett; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Pruett and Kaleb Billmeier.
