She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Slaughter and Lola Slaughter; her husband Elmer Swallows; and her great grandchild Jeffrey Swallows. She is survived by: her sons, Allen Swallows (Vera) of Dexter and Dean Swallows (Marsha) of Dexter, Missouri; her grandchildren, Travis Swallows (Kelly) of Ohio, Jeff Swallows of Dudley, Jerod Swallows (Amy) of Puxico and Jerremy Swallows of Dexter, Missouri; and her sister Juanita Shelton of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
