She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Phegley and Vena M. Ligon Phegley; her sons, James Robert "Bo" Clay and Wilson Gary Clay; her brother Robert Phegley; her children-in-law, Carolyn Clay and Verl Knight; and her great grandchild Matthew Haley.
She is survived by: her spouse Ansel M. Clay; her children, Jerry Clay (Junie) of Dexter and Sara Mae Knight of Eureka; and her grandchildren, Debbie Haley, Sheryl Wieschhaus, Greg Knight, Chelle Shelton, Rob Clay, Jera Lincoln, Matt Clay, Brad Clay, Renee Wiesler and Chad Clay. She is also survived by twenty-six great-grandchildren; and by fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
