She is survived by: her husband Elmer Battles; her sons, Terry Battles (Diana) of Dexter, Steve Battles (Angie) of Dudley, David Battles (Sherry) of Dudley and Josh Battles of Dexter, Missouri; her brother Cecil Steele Jr. of Bonita Springs, Florida; her grandchildren, Ashley Mosier (Moe), Dustin Dunning (Heather), Lindsey Layton, Kaylie Green (Jarred), Cecilia Bridges (Charles), Nicole Battles, Erika Thomlinson (Koty), Chris Battles (Amy), Joel Battles (Cori), Brendan Battles, Madara Battles and Alaina Standridge (Jake); and her great grandchild Jordan Green. She is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren.
