With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Baker Jr. of Dexter, Missouri, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Allen Baker, Sr. and Christine Towery Baker. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Allen Baker (Lisa) of Bloomfield, Kevin James Baker of Dexter and Heather Baker Hopper (Brent) of Decaturville, TN; his sister Pamela Sue Manwaring (Roger) of Sikeston; and his grandchildren, Justin Lane Hopper (Savanna) of Scotts Hill, TN, Bradon Wilson Hopper of Decaturville, TN, Jakoby Thomas Allen Baker of Bloomfield, Amethyst and Lydia Maxwell of Bloomfield. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dexter Church of Christ (1014 N 1 Mile Rd, Dexter, MO 63841).
