He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel and Violet Thompson (Brewer); his siblings, Coy, Bill, Dexter Ray, Bobby, Jerry Thompson, Vera Jean Poyner, Kay Carter Gum and Letta Joyce Thompson; and his in-laws, R. C., Mildred (Duckworth), Tucker, Hayward and Rosemary Frailey.
He is survived by: his children, Kim McCormick of Holcomb, Kerry Thompson of Cape Girardeau and Brian Thompson of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Justin, Morgan, Paden McCormick, Mollie LeGrand and Sophie Glueck; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Ledger, Jagger and Porter McCormick; and his siblings, James, Larry, Drew Thompson and Ann Brown. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, stepgrandchildren and friends.
