The passing of Jimmy Dale Thompson of Dexter, Missouri leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 78. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel and Violet Thompson (Brewer); his siblings, Coy, Bill, Dexter Ray, Bobby, Jerry Thompson, Vera Jean Poyner, Kay Carter Gum and Letta Joyce Thompson; and his in-laws, R. C., Mildred (Duckworth), Tucker, Hayward and Rosemary Frailey.
He is survived by: his children, Kim McCormick of Holcomb, Kerry Thompson of Cape Girardeau and Brian Thompson of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Justin, Morgan, Paden McCormick, Mollie LeGrand and Sophie Glueck; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Ledger, Jagger and Porter McCormick; and his siblings, James, Larry, Drew Thompson and Ann Brown. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, stepgrandchildren and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Watkins Funeral Homes - Dexter (301 N Walnut St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
