He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Spencer Hare and Amelia Gertrude Dozier Hare; his wife Mary Doretta Wooley; and his siblings, Guy Benson Hare, Cecil Hare, Edgar Hare of Wappapello, Winford Hare, Inez Boone and Marie Young.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Hare (Pam) of Bloomfield, Angela Malloy (James) of Essex and Regenia Williams (Danny) of Essex, Missouri; his sister Charlie Mae Wood of Fulton, Mississippi; and his grandchildren, Kim Sifford (Anthony), Tina Francis, Stacy Malloy, Rosanna Williams, Matt Malloy (Lauren), Eric Williams (Amy), Spencer Hare (Molly), Kirsten Williams and Mackenzie Williams. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
