He was predeceased by: his parents, Colbert Carr and Willie Martin Carr; his daughters, Rhonda Lee Colbert and Darla Shipman; and his sisters, Joanne James, Ruby Dinning, Kaye Colbert and Juanita Darby.
He is survived by: his children, Gerianne Twomey (Jason) of Jacksonville, Julie Twomey (Jamie) of Dexter, Sheri Burns (Randy) of Ozark, Missouri, Jimmy Colbert of Fredericktown, Rick Shipman (Barbie) of Dexter and Bobby Shipman (Rhonda) of Bloomfield, Missouri; his siblings, Tom Colbert of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Linda Faye Wagner of Texas; and his grandchildren, Courtnie Greer, Dalton Twomey, Brandon Twomey, Donnie Twomey, Lexie Twomey, Anna Meales, Whittney Rust, Brittney Duncan, Haylee Minks, Sajah Ballard, Daniel Twomey, Kady Ballard, Jimmy Colbert, Kayla Burns, Bud Shipman, Grace Featherston, Kenna Shipman, Brent Shipman and Cody Shipman. He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lighthouse Church (18555 Lighthouse Dr, Dexter, MO 63841).
