She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Dowdy and Marie Dempsey Dowdy; her husband Johnny Horn; and her siblings, Larry Dowdy, Edward Dowdy, John Dowdy, Bill Spence, Jimmy Dowdy, Clarence Dowdy, Louise Oliver, Lovena Dowdy, Nancy Pullum, Leta Sides and Alice Faye Dowdy.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Cunningham (Christina) of Dexter, Missouri, Johnny Horn (Michelle) of Dexter, Missouri, Billy Horn (Jennifer) of Dexter, Missouri, Sheila Reeves (Frank) of Golden Valley, Pam Sanders (Delbert) of Dexter, Vickie Sanders (Steve) of Essex and Jennifer Teague (Tim) of Herrin, Illinois; and her brother Richard Dowdy of Dexter, Missouri. She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren and forty-one great-grandchildren.
