He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Milo Duer and Mary Anna Stone Duer; and his sister Sandra Brandt. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Clinton; and his children, John Duer (Dawn) of Cape Girardeau, Samuel Duer (Jolean) of Dexter, Missouri and Susan Stone of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
