It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Lee Kent of Dexter, Missouri, born in Peach Orchard, Arkansas, who passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Kent and Annie Mae Skaggs; and his half-brothers, Norman Kent, Lee Kent and Everett Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kent; his children, Lee Kent of Dexter and Patricia Rodgers (late Thomas) of Dexter; his grandchildren, Heather Tidwell (Logan Hairston) of Dexter, Candice Rodgers of Ludowici, Kristina Stone of Sikeston, Jack Schmerber of Dexter and David Jones of Bertrand; his great grandchildren, Prestyn, Kaylar, Jayce Tidwell, Deklyn Hairston, Sierra Green (Devon), Hallie Skelton, Bentley Stayton and Christian Arment of Ludowici, Georgia; and his great great grandchildren, Maleigha and Kamber Green of Dexter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and lots of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Judes, as Homer was a yearly supporter of this worthy cause.
