Gracie Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2024, at the age of 87, Gracie Smith of Dexter, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gracie Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Welch and Pearl Hopper Welch; her son Robert L. Smith; and her siblings, Henry "Shorty" Welch, Lee Welch, Mae Rowland, Nell Tyner, Mable Welch, Naomi Pryor and Virginia Sevyors.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Smith (Janet) of Dexter, Carl Smith Jr. (Marie) of Jacksonville, Florida and Wanda Barker (Robert) of Dexter, Missouri; and her siblings, Johnny Welch of Memphis, Tennessee and Mary Welch of Louisiana. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
