He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson Hagy and Beatrice Scott Hagy; and his siblings, Earnest "Jody", Estell, Vincent, Cora, Vida, Doris and Sandy.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sons, Earl Jr. of Arnold and Alex D. of Las Cruces; and his siblings, John Jr., James Allen, Nellie, Claudia, Carolyn, Wanda and Juanita. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
