It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Walters of Dexter, Missouri, born in Malden, Missouri, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Walters and Lillian Brown Walters; his son Royce Lee Smothers; and his sister Patsy Kay Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Walters of Dexter, Missouri; his son Brad Walters (Joni) of Jackson, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Angie Smothers of Bernie, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ashlee Smothers, Tara Smothers (TC Gromer), Brayden Walters and Ava Walters; and his great grandchildren, Carter Gromer, Keylee Gromer and Keeton Gromer.
