It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deana Whittley of Dexter, Missouri, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Konley Hawk; and her siblings, Thelbert Hawk, Delbert Hawk (Anna Hawk) and Shirley Tillmon. She is survived by: her spouse Gerry Whittley; her sons, Kevin Evans (Peggy) of Essex and James "JP" Evans of Dexter, Missouri; her sisters, Mary Jackman (Joe) of Dexter, Betty Peterson of Dexter and Janis Robins of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Kaleigh Cordia (Dillon), Parker Evans, Krystal Evans, Raleigh Evans and Brailyn Evans; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Delaney and Kolbey Cordia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Dexter (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
