He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl Freeman; and his daughter Lori Anne Freeman Ditto. He is survived by: his father Charles Freeman; his wife Sharon Courter Freeman; his daughters, Michele Dickey (Jerry) of St. Louis, Leslie Freeman of Sikeston and Carrie Freeman Young of Jefferson City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Dalton Ditto, John Young, Lydia Young, Lily Golightly, Sam Golightly, Ricky Bascom and Britney Bascom; his sisters, Linda Norton (Daniel S.) of Sikeston, Missouri and Charline Chambers (Tim) of Sikeston, Missouri; and his nieces and nephews, Zachary Chambers, Tyson Chambers, David Norton, Alexandria Stowe (Steve), Jeannie Jones (Rich), Amanda Moore (Scott) and Jennifer Williams.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Dexter (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
