He is survived by : his wife Peggy Kirkbride; his children, Mark Kirkbride of Olathe, Larry Manuel of Dexter, Missouri, Laura Kirkbride of Cottleville and Paula Richardson of Piggott, Arkansas; and his brother Steve Kirkbride of Rolla, Missouri. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
