With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Faye Patterson (Dexter, Missouri), born in Advance, Missouri, who passed away on October 4, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Cheryl may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cheryl touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Murphy and Cecil Elledge Murphy; and her siblings, Milford "Bud" Murphy, Jackie Murphy, Randy Murphy, Margaret Waggoner and Marjorie Abner.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Patterson (Judy) of Bentonville, Arkansas, Gretchen Allen (Will) of Bloomfield and Stacy Rauls (Rick) of Dexter, Missouri; her sister Sharon Murphy of Jackson, Missouri; and her siblings-in-law, Bertha Murphy of Carlisle, Illinois and Lester Abner of Bloomfield, Missouri.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841).
