He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard Myers and Ruby Burke Myers; his siblings, John R. Myers Jr., Marion "Bud" Myers, James Dale Myers and Dora Ann May; his son-in-law Eric Braden; and his great grandchildren, Bryson Umfleet and Averleigh Umfleet.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara McIntyre; his children, Paul Umfleet of Hayti, Kevin Umfleet of Delphos, Ohio and Tonya Myers Braden of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; his sisters, Ruth Morgan of Dexter and Carolyn Sue Davis of Bloomfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tyler Carillo, Skylar Travis, Dustin Braden, Dalton Umfleet, Jordann Hamami, Katie Lovell (Layton), Justin Umfleet (Shelbie) and Kyla Davis; and his great grandchildren, Javian, Asher, Roman, August, Brylee and Arlow.
