With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Cox (Dexter, Missouri), who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Larry Lynn Barrett. She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Barrett (Christine) of Bloomfield, Missouri and Donna South (James) of Dexter, Missouri; her siblings-in-law, Cathy Starnes (Gary) of Dexter, Missouri and Floyd Cox, Jr. of Edgewater, Florida; her nieces and nephews, Amber Starnes, Ashley Starnes, April Wamble, James Adam South and Amy Kay South; and her great-nieces, Scarlett South, Kaycee Wamble and Maycee Wamble. She is also survived by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
