He is survived by: his wife Shirley Black; his sons, Michael "Mick" Hughes (Donna) of Cape Girardeau and David Hughes (Amy) of Tampa, Florida; his sister Louise Yeakey of Saint Peters, Missouri; his grandson Christopher Snider (Lauren); and his great grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Snider.
