He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Emry Swinney and Virginia Bell Swinney; and his brother Chester "Butch" Swinney. He is survived by: his wife Anna Swinney of Dexter, Missouri; his brothers, Paul David Swinney of Puxico and Tim Swinney of St Louis, Missouri; his daughters, Pamela Kay Swinney of Dexter, Missouri, Tammy Marie Pitt (Rodger) of Cascade and Billie Jean Stratton (Ken) of Dexter, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Terry Beane Jr., Brittany Beane, Mitchell Beane, Gavin Northcutt, Brandon Pitt, Jadyn Bond, Courtney Northcutt and Stacy Gammon.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Dexter (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
