She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Knotts and Mary Hopkins Knotts; her siblings, Ivan Knotts, Everett Knotts, Herbert Knotts, Andrew Knotts and Oletta Lowe; and her grandson Brian Denson.

She is survived by: her husband Oscar D. Denson; her children, Jimmy Denson (Barbara) of Wappapello, Missouri and Dawna Carter (Landall) of Dexter, Missouri; her sister Dixie Lowe of Kansas City, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Kyle Carter, Summer Dunkin, Dale Denson, Shelley Hollis and Jimmy Joe Denson. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren, many great-great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
