He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Perret of DeSoto and Kimberly Huffman (Chris) of Bonne Terre; his granddaughters, Kourtney Short (Chris) of Bonne Terre and Madison Luck of House Springs; his great grandchildren, MacKenna and Maxton Short of Bonne Terre; his stepgreat-grandson Mason Short of Illinois; his siblings, Ed Perret and Lavada Rawlins; and his friends, Paul Williams and Klay Pettus.
