It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley F. Boyer of Desoto, Missouri, born in De Soto, Missouri, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Butler and Goldie Butler; her husband Emanuel J. Boyer; her son-in-law John Roth; and her sister Doris Hamel.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Roth of Valley Park, MO, Terrie Brown (Charlie) of De Soto and Kenneth Boyer (Cherlynn) of De Soto; and her grandchildren, Nathan Harris (Sandy), Amanda Hester (Alan), Nichole Walker (Eddie), Matthew Brown (Christine), Jerrick Preuss, Joshua Preuss (Laura), Ashlee Francis (Jesse) and Sarah Stacy (Cody). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
