He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Menke (Vaughn); his son Joseph Menke Jr.; his grandsons, Stephen Menke and Tyler Menke; his parents, Stephen Aloysius Menke and Cecelia Isabel Menke (Chapie); and his siblings, Charles Joseph Menke, James Stephen Menke, Melvin John Menke, Bernard Raymond Menke, Irene Elizabeth Gallantin, Valetta Cecelia Grubb, Dorothy Marie Kramer, Dolores Catherine Clemens, Mary Celeste Kramer, Evelyn Dake and RuthAnn Summerton.
He is survived by: his children, David Menke (Jada) and Christina Fluegge (Menke); his grandchildren, Kayla Menke, Jenna Hallman (Trip), Michaela Bruns (Jonathan), Alexandra Dake Fluegge, Brooke Menke, Samantha Vincent, Gage Wille and Dillon Menke; his great grandchildren, Blaze Hallman, Parker Shormann, Avery Wille and Josephine Bruns; and his sister Judith Uhles (Menke). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
