He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harry and Dorothy Leona Dragschultz (Kiefer); and his siblings, Bill, Michael and Susan.

He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy (Mike Hamilton) and Mary (Rodney Steingach). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
