With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Carnell Jr. of Desoto, Missouri, born in Blytheville, Arkansas, who passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herman Carnell and Gertrude Gentry; his son Norman Carnell; and his siblings, James Carnell, Joe Carnell, Ted Carnell, Fred Carnell, Robert Carnell, Dennis Carnell and Lou Carnell.

He is survived by: his children, Herman Carnell, III of DeSoto, MO and Angelina Pirolo of DeSoto, MO; and his sisters, Carolyn Carnell (Jerry Niece) of Festus, MO and Constance Carnell of DeSoto, MO. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
