With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Russell Nelson Jr. of Desoto, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 24, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Lisa Nelson. He is survived by: his parents, Edward Russell Sr. and Vivian Arlene Nelson (Wideman); and his siblings, Tammy Barnett, Bill Nelson (Lynda), Jim Nelson, Sheree Faenger and Butch Nelson (Blue Sidebottom). He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, 10 great-nieces and great-nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Edward Russell Nelson 's name.
