She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bess and Viola Bess (Phillips); her husband Roy Hager; and her brothers, Charles M. Bess, William "Bill" Bess, Paul Bess and Bob.

She is survived by: her son Roy Linn Hager (Tonda); her grandchildren, Christopher Hager and Courtney Pugh (Doug); her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Jakob Pugh; and her sister Betty Smith.

Memorials may be directed to the Desloge United Methodist Church.
