He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Earl; his sons, Keith Johnson and Earnie Bowen; and his sisters, Opal Collins, Alene Masters and Hazel Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Johnson (Ward); his children, Tippi Seals (Jon), Holly Holliday (Jerry), Mitch K. Johnson (Patti), Darin Johnson (Mallory), Rick Johnson, Ray Bowen, Elaine Parks (Todd) and Trent Eric Bowen (Dora Giboney); his sister Juanita Wyant; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Nation (Jack) and Oliver Davis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren he loved.
