Though Judy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Judy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Golman "Dale" Halter; and her mother Lessie Crump (Burl). She is survived by: her children, David Halter (Cindy) and Melody Sue Halter; her grandchildren, Jacob Halter (Cullen Marshall), Austin Miner and Kirsten Stevens (Van Gunter); her sister Sharon Shunk (Darrell); and her friend Leroy Bradley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in honor of Judy's memory.
