Cleo Counts Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2025, at the age of 83, Cleo Counts (Desloge, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel "Peck" Counts and Fannie Counts (Whitaker); his wife Barbara Counts (Cox); his daughter Janet Thomure; his brothers, Alvin, James and Don Counts; and also, Dyer and Amanda Cox, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hampton (Tony) and Frank Counts; his son-in-law Paul Thomure; his grandchildren, Cassi Sitton, Kenny Counts (Courtney), Lauren Hampton, Jaimie Rion, Chris Thomure (Melissa), Kayla Thomure and Payton Counts; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Hailey, Alyssa Sitton, Colten, Maci Rion and Abigail Thomure; and his sister Irma Bartlett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended church family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Desloge Chapel (1116 N Desloge Dr, Desloge, MO 63601).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge to help the family with the funeral expenses.
