He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira King and Imogene King (Huckabee); his children, John Randall King, Ralph McLard and Janet Merkel; and his siblings, David King and Kathy Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda King; his children, Robert King, Jr. (Sheila) of Rockford, IL, Samantha Dinan (Tim) of Atlanta, GA, Edith Jurgens of Roscoe, IL, Rosalee Backman (Emery) of Brooklyn, WI, Patricia Jensen (Mike) of Rockford, IL and Cheryl Lignell (Dan) of Loves Park, IL; and his brother Larry King (Brenda) of Revenden, AR.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
