He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Phillips and Virginia Heise Phillips; his son Paul Wesley; and his sisters, Nora (Alvin Seabaugh), Lela (Joseph Hahn) and Vera (Loyd Birk).
He is survived by: his wife Viola; his children, Stephen Bock (Sonya) of Cape Girardeau, Gary Bock (Donna) of Jackson and Carol Lorenz (Terry) of Farrar; his grandsons, Garret Bock (Jen), Craig Bock (Amanda), Eric Bock (Emily), Kyle Lorenz (Natalie), Ryan Lorenz (Emma) and Brandon Bock (Katelyn); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Dawson, Ellie, Gus, Cora, Ford, Hailey, Maddie and Kinley.
Memorial contributions may be made in Wesley's name to Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
