She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gates and Vena Sparks Gates; her husband Wallace Hosey; her son John Hosey; and her siblings, Reece Gates, Herman Gates, Royce Gates and Zulene Washburn.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Hosey (Pat) of Sikeston, Joyce Wells (Tom) of Wickliffe and Patti Kenser of Sikeston. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
